Erika, 12th grader
I feel like I live in the middle of nowhere. When the pandemic hit, I had to move to a new home with my family, and we didn't even have WiFi. It was a nightmare. With everything being virtual, I had to go to my old house just to get some work done. I had to wake up early in the morning and stay there all day. It was tiring, but it was the only way I could keep up with my studies.
At first, it was tough getting used to the internet cutting out, but eventually, I adapted. I had to learn to be patient and wait for the connection to come back on. It was frustrating, but I learned tricks like sitting near the window to make it better. It was never not annoying or challenging.
